What is Home Staging?

Home Staging is the art of transforming an occupied or vacant house into a space in which the buyer feels “at home” and therefore wants to purchase. This can be arranged by simply re-arranging furniture to create a natural traffic flow, adding a few focal point accessories, de-cluttering, and/or renting furniture.

Home staging is proven to work - if it didn't, builders wouldn't spend thousands of dollars decorating model homes. It works for occupied and vacant properties, for small and palacial homes, at all price points, in all markets. And in a soft market with lots of inventory, you really need to do all you can to distinguish your property from the competition.
